Liverpool clear favourites to defeat Bayern Munich

The Champions League draw was made earlier today and one of the more interesting ties in the last 16 of the competition should be Liverpool against German giants Bayern Munich. Both teams have a fantastic history in the European Cup. However, the pair has never met in the competition in its current guise. It promises to be a fascinating two-legged affair.

Contrasting fortunes this season

The two teams have enjoyed contrasting fortunes in their domestic leagues. Liverpool are starting to look like real title contenders in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp’s side are yet to be defeated in the English top-flight.

The Reds are producing superb performances at both ends of the pitch and look like a match for anybody at the moment.

MSN the best Barcelona attack in history – Villa

Barcelona s forward line of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar is the best in the history of the club, according to David Villa.

Spain s all-time top goalscorer Villa lifted La Liga, the Champions League and the Club World Cup in 2011 with Pep Guardiola s Barca as part of a fearsome front three alongside Messi and Pedro.

Debate has raged over whether the current MSN trident should be considered the greatest ahead of the 2011 line-up or the attacking trio of Messi, Thierry Henry and Samuel Eto o, who fired Barca to the treble in 2009.

But Villa has little doubt that Messi, Suarez and Neymar who have inspired Luis Enrique s side to five trophies in 2015 must be regarded as the finest forward line Camp Nou has seen.

Without a doubt, it s the best triden…
